Our Core Task
The purpose of the company is to help clients to improve personal organisation, team management and corporate governance.
Specifically, our core task is to increase overall corporate effectiveness and efficiency,
by helping to improve the productivity and well-being of individuals and teams,
by teaching them how to organise and lead themselves and others.
Our distinctive approach to doing this we call ‘Associative Leadership’.
Our Distinctive Approach
The ‘Associative Leadership’ approach comprises:
- A competency framework for individuals and groups (including some optional internet-based tools)
- Learning methodologies to develop those competencies
The competencies are developed using a capacity-building approach, based on a range of training and facilitation services for individuals and groups*. One or more of the competencies can be developed in any order; either separately or embedded in existing learning and development programmes. A trainer-training programme is available for each competency.
All these services are provided by New Leadership Ltd, a private, secular, non-affiliated, independent commercial company (set up in May 1999), which is currently wholly-owned by its current Managing Director, Jonathan Wolf-Phillips.
*The difference between training and facilitation is as follows: In a training course, the trainer will bring some content and/or a skill and ‘transfer’ it to the participant(s).
In a facilitated workshop, the participant(s) bring the content and the facilitator provides a structure (e.g. by providing a series of questions) and a suitable environment (e.g. by providing/upholding ‘ground-rules’ for working healthily as a group).
