The Associative Leadership Programme for oragnisations
MODULE 1: INTRODUCTORY SESSION (2-hour exploratory meeting)
Can be open to the whole organization and other interested parties (up to 100 participants) - Identify key organizational issues currently facing the organization, and explore how these issues might be addressed by the Associative Leadership Training Programme. Identify key organizational issues currently facing the organization, and explore how these issues might be addressed by the Associative Leadership training programme.
MODULE 2: INTRODUCTORY DAY (1-day introduction to the Associative Leadership approach)
Can be open to the whole organization and other interested parties (up to around 100 participants). An introduction to the Associative Leadership approach. An exploration of the practical implications of working with the approach and possible next steps (including further training).
MODULE 3: CORPORATE GOVERNANCE (1-day induction for those responsible for governance)
Can be open to others, as guests, if required, up to 20 participants. Learn how to create/update a Corporate Constitution that reflects the organization's ethos and outlines the organization's approach to accountability, planning, decision-making and handling concerns. Learn how to monitor and support accountability throughout the organization, in the context of the Corporate Constitution.
MODULE 4: CORPORATE MANAGEMENT (1-day induction for those responsible for management)
Can be open to others, as guests, if required, up to 20 participants. learn how to integrate work group plans into an overall Corporate Development Plan. Learn how to work with individuals and working groups to monitor and support day-to-day activities using agendas, proposals and minutes from groups, in the context of the Corporate Development Plan.
MODULE 5: CORPORATE ETHOS (2-day long-term planning workshop for directors/owners only or 2-day large-group long-term planning workshop up to around 100 participants)
Learn how to create/update a Statement of ethos that includes the organization's biography; interests of current core relationships; and the organization's core task, core values and long-term vision.
MODULE 6: CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (3-hour team-building and planning workshop for one group at a time or 1-day large-group long-term planning workshop for all groups at the same time (up to around 100 participants).
Learn how to create/update individual and group work plans that include a long-term development intention for the group and detailed plans for the year ahead. Learn how to work with the Corporate Management Team as they monitor and support the Corporate Development Plan.
MODULE 7: COLLABORATIVE MEETING SKILLS AND ADVANCED GROUP DECSION MAKING METHODS (1 day practical skills training workshop)
Whole teams are encouraged to attend, not just team facilitators. Each workshop is for between 5 and 25 participants. Learn how to create clear, realistic and flexible meeting agendas and maintain the effectiveness and flexibility of a meeting by intervening with integrity. Learn how to make clear decisions in realistic timescales, allowing for a wide range of views and levels of support to be expressed and included. Learn how to use a number of advanced group decision-making methods.
All sessions (except introductory) start at 09:00 and finish at 17:00.
All modules can be repeated as often as needed.
